About me

I have been passionate about family history since a childhood project at school on the back of a wallpaper roll. This opened my eyes to the fact that there were people before me, who were part of me and without them, I wouldn’t be here.

It opened conversations with family and digging around for old photos, which become treasured items once more, and give our ancestors a story.

Using detective skills, which you do need, you can put the puzzle of the Family History together.

Continuing the Passion

Over the years I continued with dipping in and out of research, growing my family tree and fleshing out the details. I have taken on new technologies, which nowadays makes research a little quicker, but you still do need to stop and take a breath to make sure you have the right people in the right places.

I have now got to that time in my life when I can move onto new pastures and doing genealogy research is the path I want to continue to explore whilst helping others in their journeys. Feel free to get in touch to start a conversation.
